Caro: Cliff, owner of the Local Indoor Grow Store (LIGS), has been a grower for years. After a failed commercial cultivation attempt at the Russell Industrial center in Detroit, he decided to share his experience and knowledge with others; he opened LIGS in Columbiaville, Michigan. After a degree of success LIGS opened a second store in Caro Michigan.
“I first got into this for economic reasons,” Cliff admits. “Now, I don’t care about the money.”
Cliff has seen first hand the benefits of medical marijuana many times, but when it came to treating his daughter his whole world changed. Cliff’s daughter suffers from a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. After surgery, the neurologist supported the use of cannabis to treat pain and swelling.
The staff of LIGS is extremely knowledgeable, and offer more competitive pricing then the other grow stores in the area of Lapeer. Both stores carry a full line of everything an indoor and outdoor grower needs for cultivation. LIGS loves to give back whenever possible and is giving away a great starter light system to one of its lucky customers in the end of August.
To win the light system, you just have to go one of the two locations and enter, no purchase necessary. The 1000-watt system includes 8’ Yield Master hood, Ultra Sun HPS bulb and Hardcore magnetic ballast will be given away at their End of the Summer Party.
Customers of LIGS, say they like supporting an all American business. “I prefer dealing with someone that understands and communicates well,” explained a LIGS store patron. The other stores in the area are run by folks that remind me of party storeowners. They don’t care about me. When I come here I feel like family. ”
Cliff also supports veterans in a big way, seeing how many soldiers were returning with injuries. The American Flag hangs proudly in front of the LIGS stores. So every cannabis smoker in and around the Lapeer County area needs to come in to one of the LIGS stores between now and the end of August to enter to win a new light system and support the local boys.
