I know it’s a bit late, but happy 4/20 from the Mile High! April in Denver was chock full of amazing events culminating in the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup—America’s Cup! Why is it called “America’s Cup?” Because it is the only fully LEGAL cannabis celebration anywhere and people come from all over America (and the World) to attend. And man, did they come!
Highest greetings from Detroit, one of the many cities in Michigan where weed has now been freed from the clutches of the law and citizens are free to possess and smoke it whether we’re sick or just need to get high.
Petition drives are currently underway to change the local laws of cities across the State of Michigan. Tim Beck, Chuck Ream and Justin Soffa from a Coalition for a Safer Michigan have lined up well over a dozen cities and there is a final deadline of May 10th to make a final commitment to completing the petition drive. Oak Park and Hazel Park petition drives have been completed already, under the direction of Michigan House of Representative candidate, Andrew Cissel.
