Leaf Doctor Pt. 2 -by Ben Horner

Never shying from the controversy of his craft, Marcel, AKA the Leaf Doctor, says “Only the strong will survive.”

In the first part of this story, printed in last month’s issue of the MMM Report, we covered all of the competitions that he has won over the last three years. After winning over 40 awards, including three at the Michigan High Times Cup in Clio, it’s pretty hard to deny that Marcel is on the top of the food chain.

Captain Kirk, Michigan’s legendary cannabis chef who has won three High Times Cannabis Cups in the edibles category, pointed out that although Marcel won three awards at High Times, only one was a first place cup. Regardless, winning in all three flower categories is almost unheard of. Obviously, people take these competitions very seriously. Both Captain Kirk and the Leaf Doctor will be participating in the 9th Michigan Medical Marijuana cup in Grand Rapids coming up at the end of February.

A large part of the Leaf Doctor’s success is tied to his breeding program, which produces kick-ass F1 seeds. These F1 crosses are known for high potency. The Leaf Doctor Gear is now available at some of the finest dispensaries in Michigan. Limited Edition seeds packs come in a variety of indica, sativa and hybrid. Sorry, no feminized seeds are available at this time.

MMM Report had a chance to acquire some leaf
doctor genetics at Michigan Organics in Flint.
